TikTok Post 53

       Homosexuality is viewed here as a response-to-life issue. Children naively grow into it, and adults can grow beyond it if they know where and how to direct their efforts. Regarding my future TikTok posts, there will be a change of tack with an effort to cut to the chase. Principles relatable to homosexuality will be given as I have learned and lived them. Like and use them or not. I have no axe to grind and seek no argument. A principle is like a skeleton. It is an essential framework, an idea people can securely hang their life on.

      To begin, a change of definition is needed. Historically, the terms homosexuality and gay have often been taken to mean the same thing and used alternately. In these posts, homosexuality will refer to doing, to sexual behavior between males. Its primary focus is erotic acts. The term gay will refer to desire, motivation, or quality of being or sense of self. Being gay is seen as evidence of early relational wounding.

       It may seem paradoxical, but I identify being gay, that is, same-sex oriented, socially, emotionally, and erotically, as a positive force –if used correctly. This magnetism is in place to counter and unblock the psychosexual developmental arrest and facilitate normal maturation. On the other hand, same-sex sexuality is seen as a self-defeating, short-circuiting misuse of this potentially healthful correcting impetus.  

A first principle is that life is precious and purposeful. It is foremost about growth and becoming, change from infancy to maturity. For additional concepts, check future posts.
